The Resonant Lives association

Resonant Lives is a non-profit organization (1908 law, Alsace-Moselle local status), created to support, produce, and share human video portraits centered on illness, care, and donation.

Our conviction is simple: life stories have the power to change perspectives, build understanding, and bring closer worlds that seem opposed.

Our DNA: a collective grounded in reality

The Resonant Lives association was founded in 2025 by Guillaume, himself affected by a rare neuromuscular disease. But Resonant Lives is not limited to a single story.

Around him, six friends, relatives, and former colleagues came together. Different backgrounds, each shaped in their own way by strong life experiences. Illness, commitment, support, resilience: lived realities that formed a collective deeply rooted in reality.

Together, we believe in the power of sharing and embodied storytelling.
We want to create a space where stories circulate freely, where experiences inspirerather than merely inform.

Resonant Lives was born from this intention: highlight what connects us, rather than what categorizes us.

A different role

Resonant Lives is not an activist project. We do not seek to denounce, claim, or convince.

Others do it, and it is essential.

Our role lies elsewhere. We offer a complementary approach based on listening and storytelling. Through intimate, sincere video portraits, we show what lies behind diagnoses, roles, and professional titles.

These portraits do not aim to explain or justify. They make trauma less unspeakable, less taboo, by showing how each person navigates what they face.

Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, or donors: every portrait reminds us that behind every role is a person, a story, a unique way of moving forward.

No pathos. No staging. With respect, accuracy, and humanity.

Why an association

Support Resonant Lives

The Resonant Lives association is the non-profit structure that ensures the independence and dissemination of these video portraits. Every donation directly helps to:

  • fund the production of new portraits,
  • support free content distribution,
  • preserve a respectful, human, non-staged approach.

Our goal is clear: amplify essential voiceswithout distorting or instrumentalizing them.

Supporting Resonant Lives means allowing these stories to exist, circulate, and continue to inspire.

A collective ambition

In the long term, Resonant Lives aims to become:

  • a media library of human portraits around illness and care,
  • an awareness tool for associations and institutions,
  • a meeting space between patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, donors, and the general public.

A human-scale project. A deliberately measured pace.

Constant attention to narrative quality and respect for the people involved.
